3. Our Services
YourNewDoor provides residential door services including, without limitation:
Door replacement and new installation — exterior, interior, patio, French, sliding, and specialty openings
Custom door design and fabrication — doors built to your specifications, size, material, finish, glass, and hardware preferences
Door repair — including alignment, hardware, weatherstripping, rot repair, frame repair, and related service work
Consultations and estimates — including virtual and in-home assessments
Project management — from design through fabrication, scheduling, and installation by our in-house team
Service availability may vary by location, product line, and scheduling capacity. We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our scope, service area, technical capability, or safety requirements.
No subcontractors for installation. YourNewDoor performs design, fabrication planning, and installation through our own team unless otherwise disclosed in writing for a specific project.
4. Website and Customer Portal Use
4.1 Permitted use
You may use the Website and Customer Portal for lawful purposes related to learning about our services, requesting estimates, reviewing proposals, making authorized payments, and communicating with our team.
4.2 Prohibited use
You agree not to:
Use the Website or Customer Portal for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or non-public areas of the Customer Portal
Interfere with or disrupt the Website, Customer Portal, or related infrastructure
Scrape, copy, or reproduce content except as permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us or submitting forms
Upload malware or harmful code
We may suspend or terminate access to the Website or Customer Portal at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated.
4.3 Account and link access
Some Customer Portal pages are accessed through unique links sent to you by email or text message. Those links are intended for you and members of your household only. Do not share payment or proposal links publicly. You are responsible for activity that occurs through links sent to your contact information until you notify us that access should be revoked.
4.4 Accuracy of information
When you submit a contact form, request an estimate, or provide project information, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. Inaccurate measurements, site conditions, or contact details may affect pricing, scheduling, and project outcomes.
5. Estimates, Consultations, and Proposals
5.1 Estimates are not binding contracts
Initial estimates, virtual assessments, showroom consultations, and preliminary pricing are non-binding and subject to change based on final field verification, scope validation, product availability, site conditions, code requirements, and market pricing for materials.
We strive to provide same-day or timely estimates where advertised, but timing is not guaranteed and may depend on scheduling, completeness of information provided, and project complexity.
5.2 Proposals
A formal project proposal ("Proposal") sets out the scope of work, selected products, investment summary, payment options, warranty summaries, and other project-specific terms. A Proposal becomes binding only when accepted by you through one of the following:
Electronic acceptance on the Customer Portal (including selection of a payment option where applicable)
Verbal confirmation to your YourNewDoor consultant, documented in our records
Payment of a required deposit after reviewing and agreeing to applicable terms presented at checkout
YourNewDoor consultant contact information will appear on your Proposal.
5.3 Pricing validity
Unless your Proposal states otherwise, pricing is held for three (3) calendar days from the date the Proposal was published or issued. After that period, materials, glass, hardware, labor rates, and installation scheduling are subject to current pricing and availability.
5.4 Design previews and renderings
YourNewDoor may provide design visualizations, configurator previews, or photo-real renderings ("Design Previews") to help you evaluate options. Design Previews are illustrative. Final appearance may vary based on lighting, screen display, natural material variation (especially wood grain and stain), field conditions, and manufacturer specifications. Design Previews do not constitute a guarantee of exact appearance.
6. Project Acceptance, Deposits, and Production
6.1 Site Assessment Deposit
For qualifying replacement projects, YourNewDoor may request a Site Assessment Deposit (currently $99) before field verification, final scope review, and fabrication planning.
By paying the Site Assessment Deposit, you:
Commit to your project with YourNewDoor
Authorize us to begin field verification, final scope review, and fabrication planning
Acknowledge that the Site Assessment Deposit is non-refundable
Payment of the Site Assessment Deposit confirms your project as Sold in our system. If circumstances change after that point, YourNewDoor may reverse the sale at our discretion; in that event, the $99 Site Assessment Deposit remains non-refundable, but you will not be billed further unless work has already been performed or materials ordered under a separate agreement.
A separate Project Deposit will be requested before fabrication begins.
6.2 Project Deposit
Payment of the Project Deposit confirms your approval of the validated final scope and authorizes YourNewDoor to schedule fabrication and order materials. Your project is already Sold at this stage; the Project Deposit releases it to production.
Project Deposit amounts vary by project and will be stated in your Proposal or payment request.
6.3 Final scope validation
Before production, YourNewDoor performs field verification and final scope validation. If site conditions differ materially from what was represented, we will discuss scope and pricing adjustments with you before proceeding. YourNewDoor absorbs the cost of errors or omissions in our own scope discovery — we do not charge surprise upgrades between site visit and installation caused by our mistake.
6.4 Customer-requested changes
Any change to scope, products, finishes, hardware, or site conditions requested by you after Proposal acceptance may require a change order and re-quote before work continues.
7. Payment Terms
Unless your signed Proposal or invoice states otherwise, the following payment structures may be offered:
Option Summary Financing Third-party financing, subject to credit approval (see Section 8) 50 / 50 Fifty percent (50%) due to enter production; remaining fifty percent (50%) due upon substantial completion of installation 100% at order Full project investment due before production begins; a discount may apply when paid by check, ACH, or wire as stated on your Proposal
All amounts are in U.S. dollars. Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include permit fees, structural modifications beyond the agreed scope, or work required by undisclosed pre-existing conditions discovered after reasonable inspection.
7.1 Payment methods
We accept payment through secure online checkout (including payment links sent by email or text), and other methods we make available at the time of invoicing (such as check, ACH, or wire for qualifying projects).
By submitting payment, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
7.2 Late payment
If payment is not received when due, we may pause scheduling, fabrication, or installation until the account is current. Late payments on financed amounts are governed by your financing agreement (Section 8).
7.3 Taxes
Applicable sales tax will be calculated and displayed on your Proposal or invoice where required by law.
8. Third-Party Financing
YourNewDoor may offer financing options through a third-party partner, currently Wisetack or another partner we designate. Financing is optional, subject to credit approval, and governed by the financing partner's separate terms, disclosures, and loan agreement — not by these Terms alone.
If you apply for financing:
You will be directed to the partner's application flow (for example,
https://apply.wisetack.com/yournewdoor)Approval, APR, term length, fees, and payment schedule are determined by the financing partner
Promotional offers such as 0% APR for 12 months (same as cash) are subject to the partner's eligibility rules and on-time payment requirements
Late or missed payments may trigger interest, fees, or default under the partner's agreement
YourNewDoor is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Questions about financing applications, billing, or loan status should be directed to the financing partner.
9. Scheduling, Site Access, and Installation
9.1 Scheduling
After deposits and scope validation, we will schedule fabrication and installation based on product lead times, crew availability, and weather. We will communicate expected timelines through your consultant or project coordinator. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may shift due to material delays, weather, permitting, or force majeure events (Section 17).
9.2 Your responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
Secure pets and clear the work area of personal belongings
Disclose known hazards, structural issues, HOA requirements, or restrictions that may affect the work
Be available (or designate an authorized adult) for key decisions during installation when needed
Ensure an authorized adult is present if required for interior access
9.3 Existing conditions
Doors are installed into existing openings unless your Proposal includes frame reconstruction or structural work. Hidden damage, rot, out-of-square framing, or code issues discovered during installation may require additional work and pricing, which we will discuss with you before proceeding when practicable.
9.4 Removal and disposal
Unless your Proposal states otherwise, standard installation includes removal and disposal of the existing door assembly being replaced.
9.5 Completion
Installation is substantially complete when the new door is installed, adjusted, and operational per the agreed scope. Punch-list items or minor adjustments identified at completion will be scheduled promptly.
10. Warranties
YourNewDoor stands behind our products and workmanship. Warranty coverage is product-specific and project-specific.
10.1 Product warranties
Door slabs, glass, hardware, and components may carry manufacturer or YourNewDoor product-line warranties. Warranty terms — including duration, coverage, and exclusions — are stated on your Proposal opening cards, product documentation, and/or our warranty pages for the applicable product line.
Natural variation in wood grain, color, and texture is normal and not a defect. Product warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modification, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear.
10.2 Installation / workmanship warranty
Workmanship of YourNewDoor installation is covered under a separate installation warranty, summarized on your Proposal and available from your consultant. Installation warranty claims should be reported promptly to YourNewDoor.
10.3 Warranty claims
To request warranty service, contact your YourNewDoor representative or email info@yournewdoor.com with your name, project address, installation date, and a description of the issue. We may request photos or a site visit to evaluate the claim.
10.4 Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in your Proposal, product documentation, or a written warranty document, our services and products are provided without additional warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties; in those jurisdictions, the above limitation may not apply to you.
11. Repairs and Smaller Service Work
Repair services (such as alignment, weatherstripping, hardware replacement, or rot repair) are scoped and priced based on the specific services selected and approved. Repair estimates may be provided as a fixed-price menu or custom quote depending on the job.
Repair work does not automatically include full replacement unless explicitly stated. Warranty on repair work, if any, will be described at the time of approval.
12. Cancellations and Refunds
Site Assessment Deposit ($99): Non-refundable once paid, as described in Section 6.1.
Project Deposit and production payments: Refund eligibility depends on whether fabrication or material ordering has begun and whether cancellation occurs before or after production release. Your consultant will explain applicable terms at the time of payment.
Financed payments: Refunds and cancellations of financed amounts are subject to your financing partner's policies.
YourNewDoor-initiated cancellation: If we cancel a project due to circumstances within our control before meaningful work or special-order materials, we will refund applicable prepaid amounts except for non-refundable deposits clearly disclosed at payment.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
If you opt in, YourNewDoor may send SMS text messages to the mobile number you provide.
13.1 Types of messages

13.2 How to opt in
You may opt in by:
Submitting your mobile number on our Website contact or estimate request form and checking the box agreeing to receive text messages
Providing your mobile number during a phone call, virtual consultation, or in-home appointment and verbally consenting to receive project-related texts
Texting our business phone number first
Selecting SMS as your preferred contact method when working with our team
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
13.3 Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help. After you text STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again.
For assistance, call (214) 997-1520 or email info@yournewdoor.com.
13.4 Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your project stage. You may receive up to 10 messages per month during an active project. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
13.5 Mobile number privacy
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in/consent data to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers (such as our SMS delivery platform) solely to deliver messages you have requested.
See our Privacy Policy for more information.
14. Email Communications
By providing your email address, you may receive transactional emails related to your project (proposals, payment requests, scheduling updates) and, if you opt in, marketing emails about YourNewDoor services.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any marketing message. Transactional emails related to an active project may still be sent as necessary to fulfill our services.
15. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website and Customer Portal — including text, logos, graphics, photographs, design tools, configurator interfaces, proposal layouts, and software — is owned by YourNewDoor or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content except for personal, non-commercial use related to your own project (such as downloading your Proposal for your records).
Design Previews and custom designs prepared for your project remain our proprietary work product until paid for in full under a written agreement that assigns ownership, if applicable. YourNewDoor may use anonymized project photos for portfolio or marketing purposes only with your consent or where permitted by law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
YourNewDoor's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Website, or our services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to YourNewDoor for the specific project giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited.
17. Force Majeure
YourNewDoor is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, manufacturer backorders, labor shortages, utility failures, pandemics, government actions, or other force majeure events. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you and reschedule affected work.
18. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Informal resolution first. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at info@yournewdoor.com and allow at least thirty (30) days for good-faith resolution.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YourNewDoor and our officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Website or Customer Portal, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights — except to the extent caused by our negligence or willful misconduct.
20. Third-Party Services and Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as financing partners, mapping services, or manufacturer resources). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
21. Privacy
Your use of the Website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on the Website and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated by email or notice on the Website.
Continued use of the Website or services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For active projects, the Terms in effect at Proposal acceptance generally govern that project unless otherwise agreed in writing.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
24. Entire Agreement
For a specific project, these Terms supplement — and do not replace — your signed Proposal, written change orders, and any product-specific warranty documents. If there is a conflict between these general Terms and your signed Proposal for that project, the signed Proposal controls for that project.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and your Proposal (when applicable), constitute the entire agreement between you and YourNewDoor regarding the Website and general service relationship.
